A humble request to help innocent families of IPC 498A who are harressed by EVIL INTENTIONS of a culprit wife.. Instead of making a mockery of relations by fixing a salary to a housewife.. please think of how we can add value to a relationship with proper morals and pay respect to our family members (rather than paying them in terms of money and treating them as employees..) Please think constructive if possible.. Since such laws are insult to the efforts of a housemaker as well as indian values & emotions.. If a housewife does things for a family, so does all other members of the family as well for good of the family and quantifying this efforts in terms of money value quanity is a insult to everyone.. Do not play with emotions of people please..

A SUGGESTION FOR EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN
Payment of salary to wife by husband based on work done by her for the family
would amount to degrading her as it would amount to lowering her position of
being an equal partner to that of an employee. In fact, marriage is a joint
enterprise wherein both the partners agree to complement each other as per their
capabilities which as per Karl Marx is an ideal situation . Their role more or
less being determined by nature and cannot be exchanged. Women normally
undertake the duties at home whereas men go out for work. As in any such
enterprise, the fruits have to be equally shared irrespective of the type of
responsibility. It is therefore desired that instead of fixing salary for women,
it may be made mandatory that all the investments in property, stock market,
bank accounts and deposits should be held jointly in names of both the partners
so that decisions in financial matters are taken jointly. Such a step shall
empower the women and bring parity with men which have been elusive so far
because her contribution for the welfare of the family was not recognised fully

Mam, you are introducing the bill but what about the women who falsely implicate men. you are letting the women free???
    WHY????
the women who falsely implicate men, a stringent action should be taken against them as they can’t take law for granted…
this is absurd.. and i strongly believe you should think about it

Anti-dowry act punishes both giver and taker. So Why the dowry givers are not punished under law?
