Wife of State Congress leader Botcha Satyanarayana, who is a Minister in the state government and a sitting MLA from Vizianagaram district. She first got elected to the Lok Sabha in December 2006 in a by-election and this is her second term. Botsa is a powerful family in the Vizianagaram with eight members of the family and relatives holding some posts, ironically replacing the erstwhile royal family of Gajapati Raju, who till then were the most politically active family in the region.
