Dr Ghosh is a well known doctor. Her uncle late Arun Moitra, a well known freedom fighter and the Pradesh Congress President, inspired her to take up politics as a profession. She started out as a student leader from Barasat, North 24-Parganas. She got her medical degree from R. G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata and did her Post Graduation from King’s College, London.
