Dr. Tarun Mandal is 65 years old Loksabha MP, elected from Jaynagar of West Bengal state as a member of Independent Party. Dr. Tarun Mandal was born to Late Kalidas Mandal & Smt. Bimala Mandal and is married to Dr. Mahuya Nanda
Background information of Dr. Tarun Mandal:
As a youth, he was leader of the junior doctors’ movement in 1983 when the house staff, interns and PG students of government medical colleges and hospitals protested against the administration. Served as the Chief Medical Officer in Kolkata and Nasik. Was involved in various medical welfare services in the constituency.
