Kabir Suman is 74 years old Loksabha MP, elected from Jadavpur of West Bengal state as a member of All India Trinamool Congress Party. Kabir Suman was born to Shri Sudhin Chatterjee & Smt. Uma Chatterjee and is married to Smt. Sabina Yasmin
Background information of Kabir Suman:
Kabir is Bengali singer- songwriter, musician, poet, journalist, TV presenter, and occasional film actor. Being a guitar-strumming singer, Kabir had reacted impatiently and gone public when Trinamul insiders troubled him to get control of Rs. 1 crore MPLAD fund. Kabir has been trying to prevail upon Mamata to discipline corrupt politicians and their collaborators . According to him, unless the bad eggs are identified and booted out now and promoters and contractors chased away even as they approach the gate, a victory in 2011 Bengal assembly polls will mean nothing at all to the Trinamool.
